La conférence conjointe CIB W78 – LDAC 2021 aura lieu à Luxembourg du 11 au 15 octobre 2021 en association avec le Conseil international pour la recherche et l’innovation dans le bâtiment et la construction (International Council for Research and Innovation in Building , CIB), et sa commission de travail W78 sur les technologies de l’information pour la construction (Working Commission W78 on Information Technology for Construction) et à la communauté de recherche sur les données liées à l’architecture et à la construction (Linked Data in Architecture and Construction).
Cet événement est organisé par le Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) en collaboration avec l’Université de Cardiff (Royaume-Uni) et la European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP).
Jumeaux numériques : Les processus numériques impliqués dans la conception, la construction et l’exploitation des biens immobiliers sont de plus en plus influencés par les technologies traitant de la surveillance des données provenant des réseaux de capteurs, de la gestion de ces données dans des systèmes de stockage sûrs et résilients étayés par des modèles sémantiques et de la simulation et de l’optimisation des systèmes d’ingénierie basés sur l’utilisation accrue de l’intelligence artificielle. De tels processus impliquent évidemment des aspects humains et sociaux à prendre en compte dans une conception des systèmes centrée sur l’utilisateur. Ces phénomènes fortement interconnectés nécessitent une compréhension globale et on peut observer un changement d’échelle allant des matériaux aux bâtiments à celle des quartiers et des villes intelligents.
En 2021, les communautés de recherche CIB W78 et LDAC sont invitées à relever ces défis et à présenter les derniers progrès de la recherche et les applications innovantes associées aux « Digital Twins » au croisement du BIM et de la connaissance sémantique des objets.

This event is organized by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) in collaboration with Cardiff University (UK) and the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP).
Digital Twins : The digital processes involved in the design, construction and operation of built assets are increasingly influenced by technologies dealing with the monitoring of data from sensor networks, the management of this data in secure and resilient storage systems underpinned by semantic models and the simulation and optimization of engineering systems based on the increased use of Artificial Intelligence. Such processes obviously involve human and social aspects to be considered in a user-centric design of the related systems. Moreover, these phenomenons being highly networked and requiring holistic uderstanding, one can observe a shift in scales, from material and building scales to smart districts and cities.
In 2021, CIB W78 and LDAC research communities are invited to tackle these challenges and present the latest research progress and innovative applications associated with so-called Digital Twins at the crossing of BIM and semantic knowledge of things.
